Free to use, two short rules
The wallpapers
Free for personal use on your phone, tablet and computer. Showing them in your videos and streams is fine with credit: “Art & music by Purrple Cat (purrplecat.com)”. Please don’t sell them, print them on merch, or re-host them as your own wallpaper pack. The art stays © Purrple Cat.
The music
Free to use with credit on all social media platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, Facebook, X…), and livestreams are fine. Licence: CC BY 4.0. Neither the music nor remixes, samples or covers may be uploaded to music streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube Music, because that causes false Content ID claims.
Music by Purrple Cat (purrplecat.com), licensed under CC BY 4.0: creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/How the files are made
Nothing is redrawn. Desktop files from 2020 on are the original widescreen artwork, only resized. Phone and tablet files are straight crops of the full-size cover master, framed on the scene, and never upscaled. “Framed” desktop files show the whole square cover on a blur of itself. Live wallpapers are the official album animations, the whole cycle, cut where it loops.
Patterns are numbered in release order: No. 01 is Up All Night, No. 32 is Endless Forest.

Questions
Are these lofi wallpapers free?
Yes. Every wallpaper is free for personal use as your phone, tablet or computer background, with no sign-up and no watermark. Please don’t sell them, print them on merch or re-host them as your own pack.
Who made the art?
Purrple Cat. Every wallpaper is real Purrple Cat album art, only cropped and resized to fit a screen. The live wallpapers are the official album animations. No AI.
What sizes are there?
Phone (up to 1290×2796), tablet portrait (up to 2048×2732) and landscape (up to 2732×2048), desktop 1080p, 1440p and 4K, ultrawide 21:9 and super ultrawide 32:9. If your screen isn’t listed, cut your own size from the original art.
Can I use the music too?
Yes. Purrple Cat Self Release music is free to use with credit on every social platform, under CC BY 4.0. Just never upload it, or remixes, samples or covers of it, to music streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube Music.
Is any of it AI?
No AI. The art, the animations and the music are all made by Purrple Cat.
Why are some older patterns smaller?
The first albums (2018–2019) only exist as square covers of about 2000 px, so their phone and tablet files come in at the size the art allows. We never upscale. For a desktop, they also come as a “framed” 4K version.
Which albums are here?
Every Purrple Cat Self Release with full-size art, 32 in all, from Up All Night (December 7, 2018) to Endless Forest (2026). Label releases aren’t included.
Do the albums have vocals?
Mostly no: Purrple Cat is instrumental lofi, apart from the Memories EP and the single Please Hold Me.
